A prayer about Circumstances

When I have trouble accepting difficult circumstances

O good and gracious God,

It is easy to accept the good changes that life brings, but even bad circumstances can bring spiritual growth. Teach me to accept every circumstance with thanksgiving, and to trust in your constant presence. Whether my life is sunshine or rain, you never change, Lord, and you are always eager to teach me your wisdom and truth.

Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:18
