When I face a great challenge

Lord God,

Often it seems that those who possess great faith are risk-takers who embrace life’s challenges. Abram left everything he knew when he responded to your challenge to move to a new place. And Moses, though initially reluctant, stood before Pharaoh and demanded the release of the Israelites. I see that great things do not happen without challenges. So, Lord, the next time I am faced with a challenge, empower me to step out boldly in obedience to you.
