A prayer about Busyness

When I am busy all the time and accomplish so little

O God,

I often operate under the false assumption that being busy means being productive, or that resting is synonymous with laziness. Help me to see that it’s possible to have unproductive activity and productive rest. Teach me, Lord, to strike a balance between working, celebrating, and resting so that I may be productive in all areas of life.

He lets me rest in green meadows; he leads me beside peaceful streams. Psalm 23:2
