A prayer about Women

When I thank God for valuing women

Lord Jesus,

When I read the Gospel accounts, I am amazed that you ministered to women in all levels of society. Most leaders of that day treated women as second-class citizens, but you spoke with them directly, healed them, and allowed them to travel with you and your disciples. Lord, I thank you that you love and value women. You never view me as second best, and you have a purpose for my life.

In those days I will pour out my Spirit even on servants—men and women alike. Joel 2:29
