A prayer about Peace

When I need God’s peace

Lord,

When my life starts to spin out of control, I know that prayer is my gateway to peace. I unburden my soul to you, knowing that you are the only one who can handle my problems. Your peace protects me from assaults of anxiety. O Lord, teach me that when I’m focused on my own problems, they will control me. Instead, may I turn my eyes toward you. When I seek you first, I will be able to experience peace despite my circumstances.

You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you! Isaiah 26:3
