A prayer about Service

When I want to serve God with joy

Heavenly Father,

Being your servant is not a dull obligation but a great privilege. Sometimes I fall into the trap of rote service, doing things just because they have to be done. But when I remember the why behind my service—that it’s for your glory and the furthering of your Kingdom—then my attitude is transformed. May I always serve you joyfully, with gratitude for the opportunity and for the ability to show my devotion to you.
