A prayer about Opportunities

When I want to make the most of the opportunities that come my way

Father God,

I believe that you are sovereign and that you can work in all circumstances. So when I sense that you are presenting an opportunity for me to participate in your plan, I need to respond with bold action. I don’t want to waste the opportunities you set before me or want my life to be defined by regret over opportunities I missed. Please give me the courage to respond quickly to what you place in front of me and the discipline to work hard to make the most of it. I want to be available to you, so I pray for the flexibility to be willing to change my plans when you present a new opportunity. I am amazed when I think that you might use me! Help me to keep my eyes open for whatever you will bring my way.
