A prayer about Initiative

When I recognize God’s initiative in my life

Lord,

I thank you that you took the initiative to have a relationship with me. You changed my heart so that I would desire you, and you softened my heart so I could see my own sin and my need of you. Thank you that when you convict me of wrongdoing, you don’t abandon me. You guide me back to the right path. You are faithful to stay with me, molding me into the woman you created me to be.

God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. Romans 5:8
