When I am thankful for God’s trustworthy promises

Lord,

You didn’t just create truth; you are truth. You cannot lie! Your words are completely dependable. As I read your Word, I am amazed at all the wonderful things you have in store for me. You have promised salvation to those who confess Christ as Lord. You have promised an eternal future in heaven with you. You have promised your everlasting love. I praise you, Lord, for your trustworthy promises.

God has given both his promise and his oath. These two things are unchangeable because it is impossible for God to lie. Hebrews 6:18
