A prayer about God’s Presence

When I want to experience God’s presence in my life

Lord God,

Often I ask you to be near me. But the truth is that you are omnipresent, so you are already with me at all times. When I feel distance, often I’m the one who has moved away. Please help me to draw near to you. I want to experience closeness with you. Thank you that you have promised in your Word that when I genuinely seek you, I will find you. You are near.

I know the LORD is always with me. I will not be shaken, for he is right beside me. Psalm 16:8
