A prayer about Gentleness

When I want to learn to be gentle

Heavenly Father,

You are the perfect example of gentleness. Your Word tells me that you are as tender to your people as a mother to her infant, yet you are also a mighty warrior, able to defeat the powers of hell. As I encounter difficult situations with my family or coworkers, please help me to keep your example before me and remember that I can accomplish more with gentleness than with coercion.

Pursue righteousness and a godly life, along with faith, love, perseverance, and gentleness. 1 Timothy 6:11
