A prayer about Faithfulness

When I want to celebrate God’s faithfulness to me

Lord God,

You faithfully do what you say you will do. As I read the Bible, I discover myriads of promises you have already fulfilled—so when I read about promises yet to come, I can count on you to keep them. I praise you for listening to those you love, including me. You may not answer in the way I expect, but you faithfully respond. Thank you for your constant love.

God . . . is faithful to do what he says, and he has invited you into partnership with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. 1 Corinthians 1:9
