A prayer about Endurance

When I’m tempted to give up

Lord God,

I am at the end of my strength. My only hope is to depend on your strength to endure. You sustain me, giving me energy to keep going when I am exhausted and faith to keep believing when I am discouraged. Like the fire that purifies precious metals and hardens fine pottery, may my endurance through trials solidify my faith, bringing glory to you.

These trials will show that your faith is genuine. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold—though your faith is far more precious than mere gold. 1 Peter 1:7
