A prayer about Complacency

When I’ve lost my passion for following God

O Lord,

I’ve lost my excitement for following you. I’m feeling apathetic toward the things of your Kingdom, and I think I know why. Sin has gotten a foothold in my life, and it’s leading me away from you. I confess that sin, Lord. Please forgive me. I know that Satan will use all his power to keep me from being excited about following you, but you are stronger than Satan. Draw me back to you and reignite my passion.

We must listen very carefully to the truth we have heard, or we may drift away from it. Hebrews 2:1
