A prayer about being an Influence

When I want my life to help other people see God

Dear Lord,

Help me to be obedient to you so that I might develop the character and integrity that will draw others to you. I want to live in such a way that I plant seeds of faith in the lives of people around me. I may never see how my life impacts others, but you will care for and nourish the seeds I plant, and perhaps some will grow into saving faith with you.

I planted the seed in your hearts, and Apollos watered it, but it was God who made it grow. 1 Corinthians 3:6
