A prayer about Safety - Awaking to a new day

LOVING GOD,

I am awake, alive, and moving. You kept me safe while I was sound asleep, and for that I am grateful. Now I have another day to live for you. I pray that I will honor you in my thoughts, choices, speech, attitudes, actions, and interactions. I want people to see a difference, to see Christ in me.

I lay down and slept, yet I woke up in safety, for the LORD was watching over me. Psalm 3:5
