A prayer about God’s Name - Honoring the Lord

GOD,

You commanded people not to misuse your name. I realize this means more than not using “God,” “Jesus,” or “Christ” casually or as an expletive or exclamation. Believers can also dishonor you by being poor representatives. People are aware of my faith in you, and as a Christian, I wear the name of Christ. I want people to know about you by knowing me. Help me.

You must not misuse the name of the LORD your God. Exodus 20:7
