A prayer about Getting Ready For Worship - Preparing to meet God

LORD,

My usual approach before church is to rush around, making sure I have everything and that I look just right. So when I enter the sanctuary, sometimes a few minutes late, I feel frazzled. Instead, I need to get up earlier and prepare my heart to meet you. Help me, I pray.

Who may climb the mountain of the LORD? Who may stand in his holy place? Only those whose hands and hearts are pure. Psalm 24:3-4
