LORD,

I love my church, but I tend to compare my congregation to others in town and think we’re much better. I’m doing what Paul warns against. We’re redeemed sinners, just like those in other churches. Forgive me. Help me to join with believers in other churches to reach our community for Christ.

Don’t think you are better than you really are. Be honest in your evaluation of yourselves, measuring yourselves by the faith God has given us. Romans 12:3
