A Prayer About Surrender

When I give up and give in

LORD JESUS,

I know I must give you every area of my life, but that is so difficult. Afraid of what might happen, I keep holding on instead of letting go. But you know best and I must trust you. To follow you, I first have to turn completely in your direction, and that’s what I want to do. I surrender.

If any of you wants to be my follower, you must turn from your selfish ways, take up your cross, and follow me. Matthew 16:24
