A Prayer About Respect

When I perceive people as God does

DEAR LORD,

I need both respect and love. I want to be accepted for who I am, valued, and affirmed. Since that’s what I want for myself, I should do the same for others. So please give me eyes to see people as you see them, each one your special creation with dignity and worth. Help me treat all people with care, no matter how they act.

Do to others whatever you would like them to do to you. This is the essence of all that is taught in the law and the prophets. Matthew 7:12
