A Prayer About Margin

When I feel overwhelmed

DEAR LORD GOD,

I’m frazzled. I feel as though I have been running all day—driving, talking, meeting, planning, calling, spending . . . stressing. This has become my daily routine, my way of life. I need margin—space and time to think, to read the Word, and to spend with you. Calm me, Father. Fill me with your Spirit, your peace, your assurance. Help me to take a deep breath and relax in your loving arms.

Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Psalm 91:1
