A Prayer About King Jesus

When I understand Christ’s full identity

SAVIOR,

At Christmas we celebrate your birth—a cause for great rejoicing. A few months later, we commemorate Good Friday, a somber time of reflection on your crucifixion. But you rose triumphant and will return as the conquering King. Often I picture you as that infant, but I should remember that you are the almighty King of the universe . . . and my life. Come soon, Lord Jesus.

At just the right time Christ will be revealed from heaven by the blessed and only almighty God, the King of all kings and Lord of all lords. 1 Timothy 6:15
