A Prayer About Kindness

When I want to pass on the goodness of others

FATHER,

Several times today people were extremely helpful. Their voluntary attitude and acts of kindness made me think of how I treat people at times. I can easily walk by someone in need or only half listen to a friend’s plight. And I can hold a grudge after a minor slight. I want to be like Christ—kind, tenderhearted, and quick to forgive.

Be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you. Ephesians 4:32
