A Prayer About Failure

When I suffer a major setback

GOD,

Today not only didn’t I win, but I failed . . . miserably. I disappointed myself; even worse, I let down people who were counting on me. I feel like a total failure. I know you don’t see me that way and you love me for who I am, not for my accomplishments. But I’m struggling, Father. Comfort me, and show me the next step to take.

My health may fail, and my spirit may grow weak, but God remains the strength of my heart; he is mine forever. Psalm 73:26
