A Prayer About Character

When I have to make tough choices

DEAR GOD,

I know a person’s true character is revealed under pressure when no one is looking. My character was tested and tempted today. But I remembered I want to respond as Jesus would, so I made the right choices. Thank you for empowering me to think and act in ways that respect you.

May you always be filled with the fruit of your salvation—the righteous character produced in your life by Jesus Christ—for this will bring much glory and praise to God. Philippians 1:11
