A Prayer About Busyness

When my daily schedule is packed

FATHER,

From first light to right now, I have barely had time to breathe. Tomorrow’s schedule seems the same—and the next day and the next. Most of what occupies my time is important and good, but I often wonder if I am just running in place. Help me to put my hope in you and your plan, Father. I want to glorify you in all that I do.

We are merely moving shadows, and all our busy rushing ends in nothing. . . . And so, LORD, where do I put my hope? My only hope is in you. Psalm 39:6-7
