A Reflection On Loving God

When I want to rekindle my passion for God

Have you lost your first love—the love you had for Jesus when you first came to Him? You follow Jesus, but do you enjoy Him? Is your relationship with God stale and cold, or passionate and exhilarating? God desires our affection, not just our duty. Is He enjoying your relationship with Him? Are you? The fire of first love can be rekindled. Ask Him to ignite its flame in you.

Yet I hold this against you: You have forsaken your first love.
