You’ll See It in Their Faces
Attitude is usually about other people.
Yes, it’s important how you carry yourself in pursuing a life that matters, but it’s not just about you. Your attitude sets the stage for how you engage others and usually reveals how important they are in your eyes.
When you approach others, do their faces brighten and relax, or do they frown and grow tense? This may be more about them than you, but if most people seem to respond the same way, you might be considered more of a taker than a giver. Even if you disagree, what matters is the attitude that others perceive.
One attitude borrows from another. Choose to be more positive, more flexible, more willing, and a giving and generous attitude will follow. Determine that others are more important, and you’ll see it in their faces when you walk into a room.
“Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” —Luke 6:38
