Who You Are In Your Creator

Who You Are in Your Creator

Do you ever feel like you never quite measure up?

The little insecurities. The shame. The longing to know and be known. The striving after something . . . you don’t know what. You feel unspoken expectations from family or teachers or bosses, wondering what more you can do to win their approval.

You face your days feeling adrift, separated from your roots. You find ways to avoid reality, running from who you are, because you feel so unworthy.

But you are not alone. You have been created, so you are connected to your Creator.

Who you are measures up because you came from the source of all that matters. You were created to matter.

Who are you? Perhaps what matters more is this question: Who are you with?

But Moses said to God, “Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh and bring the Israelites out of Egypt?” And God said, “I will be with you.” —Exodus 3:11–12
