What Is Glorious
What Is Glorious
I hope you’ve been up early enough to witness a sunrise. Certainly you’ve seen a sunset as the afternoon has faded into dusk.
Sunrise and sunset—a brushstroked mingling of color and radiance that stops you in your tracks and reminds you that your earthly thoughts are trivial—and that there’s more to the world than your senses have ever imagined.
Like the sunrise and the sunset, when you reflect your connection to your Creator in what you say and do, you shine back a heavenly prism of light that declares His glory for all to see.
His glory in the skies and in the reflections of your heart are a reminder that none of us are alone. We’ve been touched by the Divine and have been created to live for Him.
Do not be afraid, for I am with you; I will bring your children from the east and gather you from the west. . . . Everyone who is called by my name, whom I created for my glory, whom I formed and made. —Isaiah 43:5, 7
