To Live And Move And Have Your Being
To Live and Move and Have Your Being
Here’s a fact that may free you to live a life of openness: no one can judge you more than God.
We fear the judgment of others, but consider how meaningless those judgments are. In seeking God’s forgiveness, you’ll discover that these other humans are just guessing. Only God really knows you through and through. And through His forgiveness, you’ll find love and acceptance despite His judgments. When you discover similar acceptance in safe communities, the judgments of others will lose their power.
It’s not that your wounds are gone or that you have no more healing to do. It’s that you’ll finally be comfortable in your own shoes—in both your pain and your immense value to those who matter to you.
Your openness will be a sign that the shackles of pain are crumbling and that you can finally live and move and have your being in the life that matters.
“If the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” —John 8:36
