The Source Of All Relationship
The Source of All Relationship
Here’s some fine print. As meaningful as our human relationships are, they often fail us, and we’re left searching for something more.
So ask yourself this question: If you agree that what makes life worth living are your personal relationships, then wouldn’t the source of life also be personal and relational? If God is the source of all relationship, then perhaps the source is purer than what’s downstream.
Even when all your human relationships fail you, God can be the father, sister, mother, brother, or even the loved one you may have never had. As you get to know this loving God, you can also see your human relationships more infused with the integrity and love you always wanted from them.
If God is the source, maybe that’s where you should start in making all your relationships matter.
We know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them. —1 John 4:16
