Pleasures Forevermore

Life is meant to be enjoyed. And the key to enjoying life’s pleasures is to make God your chief pleasure.

God loves you unconditionally. Do you take pleasure in that? God will never quit on you. He’ll never leave you. God has a plan for you. Doesn’t that fill you with joy?

God wants to meet your every need and has given you all He has in the gift of His Son. God is just waiting to show you His mercy. He wants to release you from your hopelessness and shame. God has a life for you beyond what you currently see. How can you not be bursting with joy?

But here’s the best news: if God commands you to be joyful no matter how you feel, then He will fill you with joy once you choose to obey.

The light shines in the darkness. It shines on pleasures that will never end.

You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore. —Psalm 16:11 NKJV
