Get Back Up

It’s not real.

You’ve been unfaithful. You’ve broken too many promises. You’ve been betrayed by those you trusted. You wonder if you’ve just been duped. Maybe all this talk of what matters has all been a lie. Maybe there’s no God at all.

But God is still in heaven. He is watching you. He hurts that you are hurting. He mourns for your pain. He sorrows for your hopelessness. He’s waiting though. He won’t press you. He wants you to see the truth for yourself.

There is no pit that the hand of the Almighty can’t lift you out of—hopelessness, brokenness, or despair. Even if you’ve turned your back on Him or the life that matters, He is still faithful.

God is calling you with the sound of a gentle whisper: Get back up. I’m here. Come walk with Me again.

It is not the end. Get back up.

The LORD gives victory to his anointed. He answers him from his heavenly sanctuary with the victorious power of his right hand.
