Take advantage of the opportunities you have to work. Your first jobs may not be lifelong, but they will help equip you for your lifelong efforts.
Ecclesiastes 10:10Using a dull ax requires great strength, so sharpen the blade. That’s the value of wisdom; it helps you succeed.

Ephesians 6:6-7Try to please them [those with authority over you] all the time, not just when they are watching you. As slaves of Christ, do the will of God with all your heart. Work with enthusiasm, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people.
Work with enthusiasm at whatever you do, even when no one is watching, because you are ultimately serving God.

Our attitude toward work should include the goal of honoring God by how we go about it. But we should also be responsible and generous with the blessings we receive for our efforts.
