Will God use me despite my inadequacies and failures?

He can use anyone he chooses and any circumstance to bring about his will. In these Scriptures, we read about the failures of Moses, Samson, Jonah, and Peter. Yet God used each of them in a mighty way to carry out his work and plans. God knew the future sins of these men when he ordered them set apart to become his leaders. But he also knew that these men longed to have clean hearts and a right relationship with God, even though they often stumbled in their faith. Fortunately, God does holy work through unholy people, because he knows no one is perfect. In the same way, he will use us if we sincerely want to be close to him and we ask him to cleanse us, even though he knows we will disobey him in the future. The key to being used by God is not perfection, but a willingness to seek forgiveness, repent from sin, and serve God with humility and obedience. Then our worry and frustration will diminish as we pursue his will and purpose.
