How can I help achieve unity? - Unity - TouchPoints
Romans 15:5May God, who gives this patience and encouragement, help you live in complete harmony with each other, as is fitting for followers of Christ Jesus.
Unity can be achieved when we work hard to develop the same kind of attitude that Jesus had, one of patience and encouragement, one that seeks to unite rather than divide.
Ephesians 4:12-13Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ. This will continue until we all come to such unity in our faith and knowledge of God’s Son that we will be mature in the Lord, measuring up to the full and complete standard of Christ.
Unity can be achieved when we exercise our God-given gifts to build others up.
1 Peter 3:8Finally, all of you should be of one mind. Sympathize with each other. Love each other as brothers and sisters. Be tenderhearted, and keep a humble attitude.
Unity can be achieved when we sympathize with others.
Ephesians 4:2-3Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other’s faults because of your love. Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace.
Unity can be achieved when we are humble and gentle.
Colossians 3:13-14Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others. Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds us all together in perfect harmony.
Unity can be achieved when we consistently love and forgive others.
