In what ways might I share with others?

Proverbs 22:9Blessed are those who are generous, because they feed the poor.

Isaiah 58:7“Share your food with the hungry, and give shelter to the homeless. Give clothes to those who need them, and do not hide from relatives who need your help.”

Acts 4:32All the believers were united in heart and mind. And they felt that what they owned was not their own, so they shared everything they had.

Romans 1:11I long to visit you so I can bring you some spiritual gift that will help you grow strong in the Lord.

Romans 12:13When God’s people are in need, be ready to help them. Always be eager to practice hospitality.

Romans 12:15Be happy with those who are happy, and weep with those who weep.

Galatians 6:2Share each other’s burdens, and in this way obey the law of Christ.

Philippians 1:7So it is right that I should feel as I do about all of you, for you have a special place in my heart. You share with me the special favor of God, both in my imprisonment and in defending and confirming the truth of the Good News.

God asks that we share our money, our home, our resources, our love, our faith, our sympathy, our joys and sorrows. When we share, we connect with others in relationship and demonstrate our Christian love. Sharing with others demonstrates that we understand the true source of every resource we own. Everything we have comes from God.
