When we visit friends far away and spend the night with them, they prepare a room for us to make us comfortable and help us rest. God does the same for us. When we come into his presence, we find that he has prepared a place where we can feel safe and rest. In his presence, the burdens of the world are put into perspective and cares melt away. When we need to be refreshed spiritually, we should go to the Creator of rest and linger there.
