Psalm 9:9-10The Lord is a shelter for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. Those who know your name trust in you, for you, O Lord, do not abandon those who search for you.

Psalm 34:18-19The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed. The righteous person faces many troubles, but the Lord comes to the rescue each time.

Daniel 3:17-18“If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God whom we serve is able to save us. He will rescue us from your power, Your Majesty. But even if he doesn’t, we want to make it clear to you, Your Majesty, that we will never serve your gods or worship the gold statue you have set up.”

James 1:2-4When troubles come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.

God does not exempt us from trials and temptations on earth. Often, that is because he is giving us opportunities to grow, to strengthen our faith, and to show others our faith in him. He is clearly able to give us the strength and wisdom we need to overcome every trouble. In every circumstance, Jesus is enough, and eventually believers will be rescued from all earthly troubles to live with him in a trouble-free forever.
