God rescues us from the dominion of Satan. We are no longer slaves to sin, bound by the control of Satan and his temptations. We are free to live as God wants us to live.
Psalm 34:4I prayed to the Lord, and he answered me. He freed me from all my fears.

God rescues us from fear, even the fear of death.

God rescues us in times of trouble. He does not always prevent or remove the trouble, but he is always present in troubled times. Moreover, he is able to use our troubles for his glory.
Psalm 72:12-14He will rescue the poor when they cry to him; he will help the oppressed, who have no one to defend them. He feels pity for the weak and the needy, and he will rescue them. He will redeem them from oppression and violence, for their lives are precious to him.
Psalm 82:3-4“Give justice to the poor and the orphan; uphold the rights of the oppressed and the destitute. Rescue the poor and helpless; deliver them from the grasp of evil people.”

God rescues us from oppression. Though we may not see that rescue until we get to heaven, we can have faith that God will keep his promises.
1 Corinthians 10:13The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure.
God rescues us from temptations. He does not always remove the temptations but gives us the resources to be victorious over them.
