How can I be confident that I will be ready for the future?

Jude 1:24Now all glory to God, who is able to keep you from falling away and will bring you with great joy into his glorious presence without a single fault.

God’s hold on us—not our hold on him—is our ultimate basis for confidence. This does not diminish our call to trust and obey him, for we remember that we are saved by his grace alone. We believe he can guard us and keep us from falling even when we feel doubts, for we know he is greater than our doubts.
