The Holy Spirit is the power of God that lives in every believer. When you yield control of your life to the Lord, he releases his power within you—power to resist temptation, to serve and love God and others when you are at the end of your rope, to have wisdom in all circumstances, and to persevere in living for God now with the promise of eternal life later. Through his Spirit, God will give you the energy you need to do all that he asks you to do.
