Where can I find peace?

Psalm 3:5I lay down and slept, yet I woke up in safety, for the Lord was watching over me.

Psalm 4:8In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, O Lord, will keep me safe.

Psalm 29:11The Lord gives his people strength. The Lord blesses them with peace.

Psalm 32:7You are my hiding place; you protect me from trouble. You surround me with songs of victory.

John 14:27“I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.”

Philippians 4:7You will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.

Peace of mind and heart come from inviting God—the source of peace—to live in you, helping you to understand that this world is only temporary. The peace from God is a gift, and it cannot be understood in worldly terms because it exists under conditions the world will not accept. By accepting God’s gift of peace, we will be able to navigate through any chaos because we know God is ultimately in control. To find this harmony with God, we can begin by asking Jesus Christ to forgive our sins and make us clean in God’s sight.
