What will happen if I have lived a life of disobedience?

Matthew 21:28-31“A man with two sons told the older boy, ‘Son, go out and work in the vineyard today.’ The son answered, ‘No, I won’t go,’ but later he changed his mind and went anyway. Then the father told the other son, ‘You go,’ and he said, ‘Yes, sir, I will.’ But he didn’t go. Which of the two obeyed his father?” They [the religious leaders] replied, “The first.” Then Jesus explained his meaning: “I tell you the truth, corrupt tax collectors and prostitutes will get into the Kingdom of God before you do.”

Romans 3:21-22Now God has shown us a way to be made right with him without keeping the requirements of the law, as was promised in the writings of Moses and the prophets long ago. We are made right with God by placing our faith in Jesus Christ. And this is true for everyone who believes, no matter who we are.

The first and most basic act of disobedience is to refuse to submit to Christ as Savior and Lord. Those who do this will not inherit the Kingdom of God. As long a person is living, he or she can stop a life of disobedience to God and start a life of obedience to him by repenting of sin and trusting in Christ. Then that person can live a life of obedience and joy.
