Psalm 103:3-5He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases. He redeems me from death and crowns me with love and tender mercies. He fills my life with good things. My youth is renewed like the eagle’s!
James 1:17Whatever is good and perfect comes down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights in the heavens. He never changes or casts a shifting shadow.
God showers numerous acts of mercy on us each day. Anything good in our lives is from God’s merciful hand.
Exodus 34:6The Lord passed in front of Moses, calling out, “Yahweh! The Lord! The God of compassion and mercy! I am slow to anger and filled with unfailing love and faithfulness.”
Proverbs 16:6Unfailing love and faithfulness make atonement for sin. By fearing the Lord, people avoid evil.
Ephesians 2:4-5God is so rich in mercy, and he loved us so much, that even though we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead. (It is only by God’s grace that you have been saved!)
God shows us mercy by being slow to get angry over our sins, by offering us eternal life and salvation, and by showing us unfailing love no matter what we have done against him.
Titus 3:4-8When God our Savior revealed his kindness and love, he saved us, not because of the righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He washed away our sins, giving us a new birth and new life through the Holy Spirit. He generously poured out the Spirit upon us through Jesus Christ our Savior. Because of his grace he made us right in his sight and gave us confidence that we will inherit eternal life. This is a trustworthy saying, and I want you to insist on these teachings so that all who trust in God will devote themselves to doing good. These teachings are good and beneficial for everyone.
By God’s love we were given the free gift of salvation even though we didn’t deserve it. Because of God’s mercy, we have forgiveness and freedom from guilt. Because of God’s kindness, we have been blessed beyond our wildest dreams because he has secured us a perfect life for all eternity
