1 John 2:9If anyone claims, “I am living in the light,” but hates a fellow believer, that person is still living in darkness.

1 John 4:12No one has ever seen God. But if we love each other, God lives in us, and his love is brought to full expression in us.

Following Jesus without loving others is like going on a road trip without any gas in the car. We won’t be able to get anywhere. Loving God and sharing that love with others is the entire point of being a follower of Jesus. We must love others, even if we don’t feel like it.
