How can leaders use God’s word in the lives of those they lead?

2 Timothy 3:16All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right.

Scripture not only shapes leaders but also directs leaders in shaping those they lead. God’s word shows us true doctrine, the path for our spiritual journey. It reveals how we sin and stray and gives godly rebuke to return us to God’s way. It teaches us how to live in the power of the Spirit and remain faithful. Leaders who intentionally teach, disclose, discipline, and disciple from Scripture will shape people in the most powerful way.
