What should I do when I see justice abused?

Psalm 82:3“Give justice to the poor and the orphan; uphold the rights of the oppressed and the destitute.”

We should speak out against injustice.

Psalm 58:6-7Break off their fangs, O God! Smash the jaws of these lions, O Lord! May they disappear like water into thirsty ground. Make their weapons useless in their hands.

We should pray, asking God to intervene to bring justice.

Isaiah 56:1This is what the Lord says: “Be just and fair to all. Do what is right and good, for I am coming soon to rescue you and to display my righteousness among you.”

Romans 13:7Give to everyone what you owe them: Pay your taxes and government fees to those who collect them, and give respect and honor to those who are in authority.

We should continue to do what is right, regardless of what others are doing.

Proverbs 20:22Don’t say, “I will get even for this wrong.” Wait for the Lord to handle the matter.

We should not seek revenge and repay evil with evil.
